CLEAR EXPECTATIONS FROM THE START

TERMS & CONDITIONS.

Payment & quote validity

$2,500 monthly. First payment due upon signing the contract.

The retainer is listed for 12 months. Retainer contracts can be cancelled by either party with 30 days’ notice.

This price quote is valid for 30 days from when sent.

Project Assignment

We do require involvement of the nonprofit point of contact to respond within our assigned agreed-upon deadlines. Whether this is requesting documents for our Step #1 Reports or reviewing grant pawposal drafts in a timely manner. Without completing your assignments on time, grant submission or fundraising ideas may be delayed. We will work with you on assignment deadlines in our monthly funding strategy meetings or through email.

Project Submittals

We will have you create a nonprofit email that we can use to send communication to funding sources and, if needed, submit foundation grants.

Project Completion

Once the grant has been submitted, we will send you all grant pawposal documents, and a snapshot about the grant. We will also ensure you have fundraising ideas and templates on file. We will give you the contact information of the grant funding source and schedule a reminder to follow up on the submittal. This will all go into a consolidated file so that you don’t lose your intellectual data.

Intellectual Confidentiality

We do not share your data and keep all your nonprofit’s information confidential.

Grant Kennel Run Policy

We need at least 4 weeks runway to write a foundation grant. If this is less than the time needed, we 1) may not write it, 2) charge additional to write it, or 3) swap out a future grant.

Communication Policy

We respond to emails within 48 hours, 7 days a week.

Number of Grants

In our grant writing retainer, we average 6–8 grant pawposals a year.
